HT/FT HELP
Form
The HT/FT form stats show how many of a team’s last 20 matches have been won, drawn and lost at HT and FT. It’s important to note that the half-time and full-time results are not necessarily related in this graphic. For example, just because a team was winning 4 at half-time and were also winning 4 at full-time, this doesn’t mean they went on to win all 4 of those matches that they were winning at half-time. It might be that two of the games that they were winning at halftime ended in draws, but another two that were level at half-time, ended up as wins.
As ever, this panel shows the last 20 games for each team that they have played home or away depending on where the upcoming fixture will be played.
Results Table
The HT/FT table is a great way to see how teams perform against similar opponents to the one they are about to play. A mid-table team might struggle against teams in the top half, losing at both HT and FT or maybe keeping it level until HT and losing at FT. However, they might be completely dominant against teams at the bottom of the table.
To show this the HT/FT league table shows the results of both teams playing in the selected match against every other team in the league. Each match square is divided into two diagonally. In the top left triangle is shown the result of the result at the end of the first half, and in the bottom right is the result at the end of the game.
So if a team has lots of matches where both halves are green, they’re probably a good bet to win at HT/FT. Other teams might tend to play out more tight games, and as more goals are generally scored in the second half of games than the first as players tire and the game opens up, they might have more matches where they are level at half-time and go on to win at full-time. You can back them accordingly.
Pro Menu
The HT/FT menu offers the chance to sort the matches by the likeliest to result in each of the 9 possible outcomes for a halftime/fulltime bet. You can also see teams that are on HT/FT streaks - they might have won 3 games in a row at HT/FT, they might have lost 3 or they might even have a habit of coming back from behind in the first half to win it in the second. Finding unusual streaks like this and matches where you think it might happen again can be key to finding value in this market.
